What's Going On

Hello. Sorry that it has been so long since I posted last. I got a bit of bad news last week about a family member and I have been dealing with the fall out from it since. I tried to get a decent flight home last weekend, but they could not promise me that I would not get bumped, so I am leaving Ny on Thursday to fly back home. I am only posting this to make you aware that I will only be updating my site while I am gone and to explain my absence. I will not be twittering, or answering email or even posting here while I am gone. Please have patience with me while I do what I need to do with my family. Well hello there! Hope this finds you doing well today? How has this month been for you so far? Is it me, or is this month just flying by? Actually, it seems as if this whole year has just flown by! Well hello out there :) Hope this finds you all doing quite well today. Are we all enduring the heat? I forgot just how much the humidity here affects the heat perception. The past two weeks have been brutal, but I know I shouldn't complain. I did live in AZ for a long time, I know that my windows still would not be open if I was there, lol. How has your summer been? The weather here has been uber hot and sticky. Looks like we are getting a tad break today, my windows are currently open and I can bare it, lol.

Hello out there :) Hope this finds you all doing well and enjoying the summer. How has everybody been? I am happy to say that we are doing well here in NY. July seems to be the month that we are finally getting settled here and putting down a few roots, so to speak. I am very happy about that because that means that things can finally get back to normal and I can get on with having fun and being naughty for you, heehee!

I am currently detoxing from splenda and equal. I am happy to say that my body is adjusting quite nicely. I never realized what kind of havoc that crap can reap on ones body! I am happy to say that on a whole, I am feeling alot better, I think my body is happy!

Where is the summer going?

Hello out there! Hope this finds you doing well today? How have things been in your world? From my title you can guess that I cant believe it's July all ready!!!! What the heck? Where is this summer going? Actually, this year has just flown by for us! But I am happy to say that we are well on our way to making things normal again here in NY and we have been enjoying the nice weather. We went to the drive in on Sunday night and saw Transformers 2...I thought it was pretty good actually. They totally left it open for a third one, but I think they will be stretching it by then. The drive in close to us here is pretty cool. They have kept it pretty close to the way it was 50 years ago when they opened. They have an ice cream stand, a concession stand and the bathrooms are pretty much what you would expect, lol. The only new thing we noticed was that you listened on your car radio now and not on the little speaker that hooks to your window. That was pretty fun actually and we have plans to go back again this week.

We are currently talking about taking the long weekend and going to Lake George for a bit. They have a boardwalk there, so it should be fun. How about you? Got plans for the long weekend? Summertime Hello

Hello my friends! Happy Friday to everyone :) Was it just me, or did this week seem to drag on even though it was a short week due to the holiday? I was beginning to think that I would not make it to today :) So, how is life treating you? Good? Any exciting news to tell? Things are going well here. Summer is finally here and if you like rain, then upper NY is the place to be, lol. But the sun makes an appearance usually once a day.

We went to PA for the holiday weekend. That trip was a lot of fun and it was great to see family and check in with some of our old haunts. It is always amazing to me how much that place feels like home. It is nice to be in a place that is so familiar....kind of makes you feel warm and fuzzy! Anyway, the trip went well and we got back on Tuesday afternoon to start the week.

Well hello out there! How goes the month of May so far? What's new? It has been pretty hectic here, but good none the less. We had Tulip fest here over Mother's Day weekend and it rocked. I did not get to spend a lot of time there because Buzz had to work most of the weekend, but what we did, was very fun! I did however miss the meet and greet :( That was a bummer, but my friend that I was going with family come into town at the last moment and could not go. So it was a pretty low key weekend. Nothing wrong with that now and then. I am super excited about the rest of the summer though! Have some big travel plans coming up and I cant wait! Have some friends coming into town too, so that will be fun! Any travel in your future?
